BREAKFAST IN BETHLEHEM
Mark your calendars, Breakfast In Bethlehem youth actor, singer, dancer, and volunteer sign-ups will be coming to the Gathering Space the weekend of November 11 & 12. Youth, 2nd-grade and up are invited to bring Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem alive in this beloved St. John event on Saturday, December 9. Adults, please consider offering a few hours of your time for set-up, costuming, and more!
CHIRSTMAS GIVING TREE
The St. Michael Community Outreach Ministry will once again support Broken Bus Ministry, Princeton Closet, and Valley Interfaith through the Giving Tree. This gift card fundraiser provides for underprivileged families during the holidays. Gift cards will be collected in the Gathering Space the weekends of November 11 & 12 and 18 & 19. CAMPTON TOY DRIVE
This year has been particularly difficult for Kentucky, and the Church of the Good Shepherd is hoping for a great response to provide a Merry Christmas to the young families in Wolfe County. The St. John Parish Toy Drive for Campton Mission will take place the weekend of November 25/26. You can drop new games, toys, and various types of balls for children any time between now and November 26. Drop off to the St. John Parish Office during office hours or the St. John Gathering Space at any time. The Good Shepherd parish in Campton requests that all toys are new and that they be un-wrapped so that the parents are better able to select age-appropriate gifts for their children. Please do not include toy guns or weapons. Thank you for making a brighter Christmas for families in Campton!

Autumn into Christmas brings a cornucopia of wonderful celebrations. Together, Women of the Word will discover how to celebrate the gifts of the season with delightful and sacred experiences. This event is open to all TCC women.
Holy Hour for Vocations & Evening Prayer | November 6 at 6 p.m. at St. Michael Church
To celebrate Vocations Week, the Tri-County Catholics Family of Parishes will host a special holy hour for vocations. Join us as we pray for all people to discern their vocation; how God calls them to serve Him in the world. Resources for this special prayer time will be provided. We will celebrate the Feast of Sts. Joachim and Ann, grandparents to Jesus Christ, with a special rosary prayer service at St. Michael Church. We invite all Tri-County Catholics grandparents to bring their grandchildren to attend this prayer service, which will aim to show a younger audience how to pray the rosary and bond with their community through prayer. Rosaries and rosary prayer cards will be available for those new to praying the rosary. Ice cream treats will be available for all afterwards.

St. John the Evangelist is hosting its annual Vacation Bible School June 19-23 in the St. John Parish Center. This year will serve as a transitional year for VBS, as our parish staff is evaluating what individual parish events are able to expand to the entire family. We are excited to share VBS with our whole family of parishes, and are hoping that we see an enthusiastic number of volunteers that will help us expand this program in future years. For 2023, registration will open to St. John parishioners on May 14 on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be open to all Tri-County Catholics parishioners beginning May 21. Senior Ministry Daytrip | June 21

On this summer’s St. Michael Seniors daytrip, we invite all parishioners age 60+ and their spouses to hop on a Croswell bus at St. Michael Parish for a tour of Cincinnati’s Music Hall and Hamilton County Crime Lab, with lunch at Firehouse Grill & Brewery from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. For reservations, menu options, and questions, please call Caroline Warnow at (513) 403-9831, by Friday, June 9. Featuring over $300 worth of gift cards and lottery tickets, you have a chance to win for just $5/ticket. Tickets can be purchased at the Fish Fry. Money received will sponsor a veteran on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., support our St. Michael School Annual Scholarship Program, and allow for a donation to the Athenaeum of Ohio Fund.

Join us for a fun night out with Mom & Dad! Mothers and sons will enjoy a luau-themed game night and fathers and daughters will dance the night away at our Valentine's father daughter dance. Daughters and sons of all ages are welcome! We will also be needing plenty of volunteers to support both events on one night. Annual Banana Bake Sale | Weekend of February 11/12 before and after all St. Michael Masses
We are teaming up again with Back2Back Ministries to buy bananas for the kids in the Back2Back Orphanages in India. We will have everything from banana cookies, banana muffins, banana bread, banana cake, to banana everything. All proceeds from the bake sale will go toward purchasing bananas for the orphans. $30 can provide bananas to 250 children for a week! At our last Banana Bake Sale in 2018, we raised $1,086 which was enough money to purchase a 106-day supply of bananas and feed 600 children!
Banana Bake Sale Donation Information: If you would like to provide items for the Banana Bake Sale, we need lots of yummy banana baked treats!
- We will be selling banana bread by the loaf. If you make a loaf of banana bread, please leave it whole and put it in a Ziploc bag. These loaves are popular and tend to sell out well before the 11:30 Mass, so we would love more donations of whole loaves of bread!
- We are also selling any banana-type bake sale items that do not need to be refrigerated. This can be anything from cookies, muffins, bread, cake, or anything that you can think of! Please package these items two per Ziploc baggie. We will also be selling whole banana cakes or bars. Please bake your cake/bars in a disposable/non-returnable cake pan.
- Please either drop off your baked goods to our table in the St. Michael Gathering Space the weekend of the bake sale before or after Mass. These items freeze well, so you can also bake now, stick them in your freezer.
FAMILY PRAYER NIGHT | January 24, 6:00-7:30 p.m.

Family Prayer Night is an opportunity for Catholic families within the community to come together for prayer, dinner, and fellowship. Our theme for January is “What can we learn from the Holy Family?” We will serve pizza at 6:00 p.m., then break out into groups to learn about the trials of the Holy Family and what this means in the day-to-day lives of our own families. Donating blood is easy and takes about 20 minutes. Your generous blood donation for this worthy cause is needed and appreciated. Walk-ins during the blood drive hours are welcome. To donate blood, you must: be 8 weeks since your last blood donation, be 17+ (16 with parent consent form), weigh over 110 lbs. The morning includes a simple breakfast, vendors, activities, music, and more. “Beggars” will be collecting canned or non-perishable food for Reach Out Lakota. “Roman Guards” will seat you as you arrive. Then, the Nativity story will be presented by young St. John parishioners and narrated so that all in the audience can follow along Joseph and Mary’s journey to Bethlehem. Help usher in the holiday season and enjoy Breakfast with Santa! LENTEN BIBLE STUDY WITH FR. ED | "Eucharist in Scripture"
The Eucharist is central to our faith and worship. Its deep biblical roots ground us and nourish us. How often throughout scripture does God invite us to an intimate fellowship with Him through a meal, bless us with food when we are hungry, or celebrate with us at a feast? Join us for a Lenten Bible Study led by our Pastor, Fr. Ed. There is a $12 suggested good will offering to cover the books we will be using, but please do not let that deter you from joining us. To mark the occasion of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, Tri-County Catholics will be offering a pet blessing. You may bring your pets, or a photo of your pet, to St. John Parish and the blessing will take place in the plaza front of church.

Save a Life | October 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. John Pavilion
Bystanders with little to no medical training often become heroic lifesavers. Learn how to act quickly to save lives at a free lifesaving skill presentation by UC Health Trauma Prevention and Outreach. Coordinator Regina Menninger will show you how to quickly control bleeding, perform hands-only CPR, and use an AED.

Sgt. Michael Bruce will be the guest speaker at the Spirited Seniors October Luncheon. Sgt. Bruce is an experienced law enforcement officer whose presentation will focus on scams that target your kindness over the phone and internet. There will be open discussion on other relevant local law enforcement matters upon closing of his presentation. The fee for this luncheon is $15 and will include pizza, salad, and a beverage.
Celebrating the Gift of the Eucharist | October 21 at St. Gabriel beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Join us for the weekly Saturday morning Mass at St. Gabriel, as we take this opportunity to especially honor and celebrate the gift of the Eucharist. We will celebrate Mass and conclude with time for Confession and Adoration of the Eucharist. Our morning will conclude with Benediction at 10:30am.
