CHIRSTMAS GIVING TREE The St. Michael Community Outreach Ministry will once again support Broken Bus Ministry, Princeton Closet, and Valley Interfaith through the Giving Tree. This gift card fundraiser provides for underprivileged families during the holidays. Gift cards will be collected in the Gathering Space the weekends of November 11 & 12 and 18 & 19. CAMPTON TOY DRIVE This year has been particularly difficult for Kentucky, and the Church of the Good Shepherd is hoping for a great response to provide a Merry Christmas to the young families in Wolfe County. The St. John Parish Toy Drive for Campton Mission will take place the weekend of November 25/26. You can drop new games, toys, and various types of balls for children any time between now and November 26. Drop off to the St. John Parish Office during office hours or the St. John Gathering Space at any time. The Good Shepherd parish in Campton requests that all toys are new and that they be un-wrapped so that the parents are better able to select age-appropriate gifts for their children. Please do not include toy guns or weapons. Thank you for making a brighter Christmas for families in Campton!

We will celebrate the Feast of Sts. Joachim and Ann, grandparents to Jesus Christ, with a special rosary prayer service at St. Michael Church. Vacation Bible School | June 19-23, 2023 Location: St. John Parish Center Registration Required: Register here. St. John the Evangelist is hosting its annual Vacation Bible School June 19-23 in the St. John Parish Center. This year will serve as a transitional year for VBS, as our parish staff is evaluating what individual parish events are able to expand to the entire family. We are excited to share VBS with our whole family of parishes, and are hoping that we see an enthusiastic number of volunteers that will help us expand this program in future years. For 2023, registration will open to St. John parishioners on May 14 on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be open to all Tri-County Catholics parishioners beginning May 21. Annual Banana Bake Sale| Weekend of February 11/12 before and after all St. Michael Masses We are teaming up again with Back2Back Ministries to buy bananas for the kids in the Back2Back Orphanages in India. We will have everything from banana cookies, banana muffins, banana bread, banana cake, to banana everything. All proceeds from the bake sale will go toward purchasing bananas for the orphans. $30 can provide bananas to 250 children for a week! At our last Banana Bake Sale in 2018, we raised $1,086 which was enough money to purchase a 106-day supply of bananas and feed 600 children!

We will be selling banana bread by the loaf. If you make a loaf of banana bread, please leave it whole and put it in a Ziploc bag. These loaves are popular and tend to sell out well before the 11:30 Mass, so we would love more donations of whole loaves of bread!
We are also selling any banana-type bake sale items that do not need to be refrigerated. This can be anything from cookies, muffins, bread, cake, or anything that you can think of! Please package these items two per Ziploc baggie. We will also be selling whole banana cakes or bars. Please bake your cake/bars in a disposable/non-returnable cake pan.
Please either drop off your baked goods to our table in the St. Michael Gathering Space the weekend of the bake sale before or after Mass. These items freeze well, so you can also bake now, stick them in your freezer.
FAMILY PRAYER NIGHT | January 24, 6:00-7:30 p.m. Location: St. John Favret Hall Family Prayer Night is an opportunity for Catholic families within the community to come together for prayer, dinner, and fellowship. Michael Bruce will be the guest speaker at the Spirited Seniors October Luncheon. Sgt. Bruce is an experienced law enforcement officer whose presentation will focus on scams that target your kindness over the phone and internet.
