Our Historic Church1850's families wishing to move away from the rapid growth of Cincinnati settled in the village of Glendale. With no Catholic Church nearby, the community called for worship and the cornerstone of St. Gabriel Church was laid in 1859.

Our Mid-Century ChurchThe hands and hearts of hard working German Catholic farmers and Irish Catholic railroaders built the St. Michael community through the 1900s. The parish thrived throughout the century and the current church was built in 1962.

Our Modern ChurchA thriving community post-World War II, St. John Parish called for the proposal of a new church in response to Union Township's rapid population increase. St. John the Evangelist Church was dedicated with great celebration in 1999.

Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr is the 10th archbishop of Cincinnati. He became archbishop of Cincinnati on December 21, 2009.
