Each program and ministry of the Church keeps Jesus at the center and meets you where you are. We have additional opportunities to learn and serve through our parish family and community for adults and teens. Help others benefit from these great programs and ministries by being an active part of your parish.
“We are called to this place and to these people. We minister to this place and to these people in the name of Jesus Christ for the welfare of this place and for all these people, regardless of their faith or their background, even though we joyfully proclaim Jesus to everyone.”

You and your child have just taken the first step on a journey of adventure, family fun, character and leadership development, and so much more. Scouting is about fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and the future. Dan Beard Council has a long history of providing life-changing programs to the young men and women of the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. Individual Girl Scout troops are formed with the same age girls, and existing troops who would love to add new girls.
Some annual events are: camping, bowling night, skating night, Operation Christmas Child, Girl Scout Sunday Mass, flower planting in front of church, and much more! Each troop has its own personality and decides what they want to accomplish throughout the year(s).
If you and your daughter are interested in Girl Scouting at St. John, please contact Diane Biehle at (513) 777-4946 or Laura Smith at (513) 378-6709. Please note, in order to form new troops, volunteers are needed for troop leadership.
